Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.

CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)

The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.

EXAMPLE:

Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%

This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

We certify that the above fragrance oil is in compliance with the most recent standards published by the INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) as provided to us by our supplier.

I made perfume and although it has not yet macerated, it’s definitely not that awful at all and in comparison with the original, it’s not that far off , I’m sure that 4 weeks from now it’ll be even better.
For anyone who thought it was awful, I wouldn’t mind buying another 4-8 oz , so if you want rid of it, hit me up, please! I usually don’t even like those type of notes but I really like this . What’s even stranger is that EVERYONE who’s samples it wants a big bottle of perfume made with it - chose this over the other one Í got in that day.

I was so disappointed in this one. Burberry Goddess is one of my favorite perfumes so I was really excited. This one does not smell like Goddess at all, not even close. It smells like lavender and some other florals. Such a let down.
