Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.

CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)

The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.

EXAMPLE:

Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%

This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

We certify that the above fragrance oil is in compliance with the most recent standards published by the INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) as provided to us by our supplier.

This is the best Cry Baby Milk I’ve tried, it’s so close to the original. Others lack that powdery note but this one has all the right notes. Out of the bottle you get creamy, powdery strawberries and the dry down is so nice even after macerating for less than a week. I’m so glad you brought this back!

Made perfume and the dry down is beautiful. I kept smelling myself. ? this would be beautiful in a blend as well.

I’ve not smelled the original, but have smelled other dupes that I’ve not been a fan of. This one is more sweet and creamy than the other ones I’ve smelled, and I am LOVING it! I’ve already upgraded my 4oz tester so I can make a perfume.

I need to say I am sickeningly obsessed with Cry Baby and I’ve only had it 3 days! I went back and ordered the last bottle last night! Holy smokes it’s so rich and seductive!

#13478: As usual, Í made perfume with this FO.
My first impression, right after spraying… I don’t like it too much while everyone else ( 8 people) did. The dry down, however, turns this into what I wished “yum boujee Marshmallow “ should have been- you can smell every note ! It’s lactonic and sweet but also woodsy with hints of berry . the original was very much liked with critics even being surprised because normally “celebrity fragrances “ aren’t really all that great but Cry Baby Milk was a fabulous idea that preceded newer similar fragrances. The dupe is really good once it dries down, me and the 8 other people who’ve done the initial testing all agree that we would choose this over YBM.
It starts strong- give it at least 10 minutes to mellow down . This is just a first impression without letting the perfume macerate properly.
