Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

I absolutely love this, it makes a stunning perfume- the longer it macerates, the more you detect the different notes . It’s quite different from most gourmands we’ve had from presales- it’s typical Guerlain style. Gourmand, but still old school perfume : sexy and mature and somewhat bold initially. Great to have some of those, too, vs so many similar in DNA gourmands that focus on vanilla, although you also do notice vanilla notes in Elexir Charnel GC, where all notes together create this somewhat boozy beauty!
I definitely would love to be able to buy more once I need to.
