Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

After a year of having this fragrance oil and having made Extrait de Parfum - omg, it's such a different ( in a very nice way) fragrance! What is there not to like? Although I have not had the original, I also don't know for sure if I ever smelled it before but I see other customers commenting that it is exactly like the original, I normally don't care about that if the fragrance oils really smell awesome as a perfume- this one only needs one or two sprays and one to two sprays will last you all day! I supply all my children with these beautiful dupes and they constantly are complimented on this one ( and many of the other dupes I've sent) - this one specifically just stands out to me for not smelling like all the other vanilla - gourmand fragrances, the incense note turned this fragrance into something that stands out! I definitely would always re-purchase this one!

I bought my first bottle of this from a destash but unfortunately I don’t have the original to compare it to. I have this from another company and it’s gorgeous. My first bottle had an off smell maybe old or a different batch but after letting it dry down it was much nicer.
This bottle is different in a good way, maybe because it’s a fresh batch and the tonka and cacao are more noticeable in this one, I’m excited to see how it turns out in perfume. I put 20% in perfumers alcohol since it’s on the stronger side.

In perfume, body care or in a more standard FO load like 10% for wax melts it’s amazing. It smells like the OG. It’s one I will buy again to use for body care products and perfumes. This is beautiful. (I have this from another supplier which I will use for wax melts because that one may have been optimized a bit for wax products. This version didn’t blend with my wax and fragrance load which for melts is higher than some may use but in all other products tested was a star!
