Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.
We certify that the above fragrance oil is in compliance with the most recent standards published by the INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) as provided to us by our supplier.

Love Don’t Be Shy is in my top 3 favorite perfumes but I was really disappointed by this version. It isn’t sweet at all, I don’t smell any marshmallow or caramel just the florals, it’s closer to marrakesh in a bottle by Kayali in my opinion and although I do like that one I was expecting something closer to the original Kilian like other versions I’ve tried.
