Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

It totally would have shocked me if this one here was not already sold out shortly after putting it on the list! Wow! It’s GOOD! It’s just another yummy goodness from SDJ , an AWESOME dupe and every single person who has smelled it fell in love! Julie- you’re going to have to keep this one! I didn’t order the SSS dupe of Coco Cabana because I bought the dupe elsewhere and wasn’t in love- now I regret it because this is one I never smelled the original version of, so I’m not sure if the one I have actually really is accurate and whatever I have purchased here has always and steadily been soooo similar to the originals!
Bom Dia Bright Cheirosa’40 is definitely a SDJ dupe you must have! Sorry, I no longer make CP but it’s absolutely fabulous as an EDP and in Body Butter and Lotions!
