Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

I just received this and it has no scent to it at all. I have e mailed the company after seeing others had this issue as well. I’m guessing there is a batch that didn’t get the scent added to it.

Honestly, I have never been able to smell scent at all from this oil. I let it sit for weeks, and then months. Still nothing. It is thick from the carrier oils, so bear that in mind, as it may effect formulations.

At first I couldn’t smell anything AT ALL!! I then shook the bottle, and still didn’t smell anything, but I put it on my skin. After about ten minutes I was wondering what was smelling so good and omg! The scent came out beautifully. I am very very picky with my scents for my business and omg this is delightful once the scent comes out and it smells like pure marshmallow fluff. Give it time everyone!

just received this fragrance last week when i first opened it it smelled light but good I was excited to use it this week, but when I opened it this week it smelled of nothing at all just thick carrier oils, I reached out and left a voice mail hoping there can be a resolution to this, I read the reviews above and am surprised by the responses I was hoping this would be a great product for my customers
