Common Name Ingredient List (FDA Approved):
Fragrance
Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

I initially did not like this at all ( thanks to another member selling small amounts of her FOs, I was able to test a few ) but a few days ago, I decided to try out the perfume I had made, which completely changed my mind- the boozy notes remind me of a Parfum I scored in the beginning of the 1990s- “Champagne” by YSL ! Once I smelled that, I had to buy more! Not saying it’s authentic but it just strongly reminded me of the YSL Parfum that of course has been discontinued, so I do not have anything to compare Vanilla 28 with and my memory may have me fooled but i know this has been the first time in 30-some years for me to have smelled a perfume that reminded me of the YSL one!

Smells exactly like the OG to me and it's so potent!!!!! I made some EDP with it, and I could still smell it at the end of the day. As it settles, the creaminess of the vanilla comes through more and more!!! I love it. Need more!!!

Very close to the original. Performs well in b&b. There is another dupe on the market that really misses the mark of an earthy vanilla that is captured here. This would work as a stand alone or would make an amazing blender.
