Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.

CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)

The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.

EXAMPLE:

Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%

This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

We certify that the above fragrance oil is in compliance with the most recent standards published by the INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) as provided to us by our supplier.

The IFRA standards are based on safety assessments by the Panel of Experts of the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) and are enforced by the IFRA Scientific Committee.

I did not know what this would smell like, I was a bit worried this would be some niche type fragrance where I’d literally smell like a Croissant but there’s the most beautiful hint of Croissant that starts becoming apparent during the drydown with beautiful berry and floral notes- not overbearing at all but very pleasant.
Made perfume with it and would definitely say this is isn’t “loud” / cloying - I can’t stop smelling my wrists I used to test the perfumes I made of “Crumb Couture “ and “Happy Dust” types!

Seeing how fast the extras went- I hope you will bring it back because the perfume is blooming into something even better than I initially thought! It’s really, really nice!
