Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.
We certify that the above fragrance oil is in compliance with the most recent standards published by the INTERNATIONAL FRAGRANCE ASSOCIATION (IFRA) as provided to us by our supplier.

Coconut Lime Verbena fragrance soaped like a dream, like everyone else said before me! I was worried the scent was going to weak, smelling straight from the bottle. But man was I wrong to worry because once OUT of the bottle, its super powers were activated! I hoping my customer base will love this as much I do because I can't wait to make more!

This is an exact dupe of Peaks Coconut Lime Verbena. It is my best selling scent in candles, and probably in soap too. It's a guaranteed sell. Soaps very easy, no A or D, and has a great scent throw in soy.

Soaped with Coconut Lime Verbena, Behaved really well at room temp and mixing colors and fragrance in by hand. Nice strong scent. I think my client will be really happy. I can hear my self-singing " you put da lime in the coconut and drink it all up"
