One of the most rare, precious, and expensive ingredients in a perfumer’s arsenal, Oud Wood is often burned in incense-filled temples. Exotic rose wood and cardamom give way to a smoky blend of rare oud wood, sandalwood, and vetiver. Tonka bean and amber add warmth and sensuality.

Not sure how much fragrance to use in the product you want to make? First, you need to understand the maximum percentages that specific product base will typically accept.
CP, HP, CPOP Soap: 6%
MP Soap: 3%
Lotions and Scrubs: 1-2%
Bath Bombs, Salts & Soaks: 5-10%
Candles: 6-12% (depends upon wax used)
The actual percentage you end up using should be based upon the IFRA maximum, the maximum your product base will accept and what % of fragrance it takes to make your product smell awesome! A good starting place is using the LOWEST of these three percentages.
EXAMPLE:
Desired scent strength: 5%
Maximum CP base load: 6%
IFRA Maximum: 12%
This means you should start with 5% of this particular fragrance in your CP soap as that is the lowest of all three numbers. Remember, you are not limited to this percentage. You can use up to 12%. However, this is a great place to start.

Purchased this because unfortunately, there weren't enough male fragrance dupes to choose and make perfumes from. I had never smelled the OG, but one of my my sons and my son in law love and wear the perfume I made from this FO.

I used this in CP soap and in a cologne. Amazing scent retention in the CP, but it does accelerate. It is manageable for solid colors or layers, but put all colors into it first before the fragrance. It does not discolor at all; mine stayed creamy white like my control. In the spray, I used it at 20%, and my husband cannot get enough of it. Very sexy, woodsy, peppery- It's all in there! It is strong at 20% but could be used at a lesser amount and still be fine.

Fantastic sexy fragrance. Didn't have any problem using it with my shave soap recipe. However when I used it for my CP bath soaps, it accelerated and went like jelly and then like mashed potatoes. I was able to get it in the mold at least. Hopefully it turns out decently. Btw, I didn't even stick blend.....it just went from thickening nicely to yikes! ???? But overall, I still love it and recommend it!
